Mwahaha.... I suriusly don't even know where that came from. Just don't ask. SO I've been away for ages - I just moved and we didn't get internet here for ages (*DED*) and yeah - and I thought that it might be a good idea to update... it IS a bit weird to still have your mood as Jolly when it's the middle of March X_x

So - who's excited about the new Twilight movie???? MEMEMEMEMEMEMEME!!! AND it's out this December - GAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. Can't wait. I'm so thrilled about the cast, as I mentioned in my previous entry. I would like this time to say to all those Summit-casting critics (I like to call them whiner-babies) -


"Ehem, attention all whiner-babies. I would like to express my opinion on all your whiner-baby-ing - build a bridge and get over it! Yes, they have decided to cast Edward as Robert Pattinson and not Gaspard Ulliel (who is undeniably hotter and more perfect, but obviously not interested/unavailable/unaffordable/WATEVA). And NO - your whining and annoying hate comments on the cast ARE NOT going to change anything! So, I repeat - BUILD A BRIDGE. Thank you."


phew *whipesbrow* now that I got that out of my system, like I was saying. Personally, I'm just as thrilled as I'm sure Stephenie Meyer is. I must say that I'm a little concerned about Jasper's (Jackson Rathabone) unrealistic/dodgy hairdo, but I will reserve final judgement until the movie is actually shot. We must remember that the photos we have are only early promo shots.



AAANNNNDDD what about Breaking Dawn??? Who's not excited about that?? I'm just jumping up and down in my seat thinking about it. I've been browsing through some of the fanfictions out there, and I've been very impressed by some of the original ideas that I've unearthed. Although I am writing one of my own (albeit very slowly) most of you probably haven't read it, and so I'd like to just put my theories out there, so that if I happen to guess anything correctly (which I have been known to do before, eg in Harry Potter 7 - I'd come up with the theory, about 4 years before it was released, that Snape was in love with Lily. I do have my fanfiction to prove it).


SO, here's what I think on...


Jacob - Last time we saw him, he was running away from everyone because he couldn't deal with the idea of Bella's wedding. Ok. Well, a lot of people think all sorts of things, and I won't mention them because it'd take so long, but here's what I think will happen with his character.

Jake is running. I reckon goes at it for a good few hours... burns off all the energy from his last meal... and then gets hungry. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but I get the distinct impression that the werewolves don't like to eat when they're wolves. So, Jacob is starving and a little calmer, so he turns around. When he gets to the edge of the Makah rez (the far side from Forks) he catches the most deliscious smell of cooking coming from a little house and, still reluctant to go home anyway, decides to stop and ask them to share with him. He changes back (not sure about what he does for clothes... lets say he found a Salvos bin somewhere...) and goes up to the door and knocks. The door opens... and then... WHAM! He imprints on this pretty little Makah girl! Her grand/father is a tribal elder, and knows all about the werewolves, so he's not TOTALLY creeped out when Jake just suddenly won't leave this girl alone when they only just met, she falls for him too (of course) and they live happily ever after.


Bella - and her vampiritic status. Does Edward change her? In a word - HELL YES! Now, I know that this book can't all be a bed of roses, so I KNOW that there's going to be some sort of twist with this, where we'll suddenly doubt this outcome once more. I just don't know what that will be.

And then there's the matter of what she's like as a vampire and her special ability. Now, that's a very interesting thing to think about... there are just so many possibilities, and I think that we just don't know quite enough about how SM thinks about this whole mythical world to guess completely correctly. I have several theories.

1 - I like to think that (due to her strong aversion to blood as a human) Bella will actually like smaller game... especially deer. To me, deer just seem like the kind of prey that Bella would go for - they suit her personality well. So, just like some people prefer a chocolate sponge cake to a full-on a chocolate mud fudge cake with really thick icing because they don't like the richness, Bella doesn't like the more overpowering flavour of bigger game. Make sense??

2 - I've heard of one theory that I really like, and I would like to put it before my one, previously formed, theory because it has really grown on me. Due to the fact that Bella is not affected by mental abilities (ie Edward & Aro's mindreading, Jane's torture gaze, Demetri's... mental GPS, lol) this will be enhanced so that she can create a kind of super-shield, which blocks out such abilities and bounces them back onto the person projecting it in the first place. I'd like to expand that a little bit here - if this is her ability, then I think she'll also be able to stretch this shield to encase other people, and protect others. This is very fitting with her whole more-worried-about-everyone-but-herself attitude. I think this is VERY possible and even likely.

3 - My own ability theory. I know that my biggest issue with Bella becoming a vampire is that she will lose all of those human reactions that we and Edward absolutely adore. Now, I'm again working with the idea of her mind being different from everyone else's, but from an angle that nobody seems to have considered, as well as Bella's whole preserve-everyone-else tendancies - and those freakily accurate images that she can paint in her mind. I'm also drawing on the comment from Aro, that she's the most promising talent since Jane... I think that Bella will have a great ability to project what she sees in her mind so that everyone else can see it. In other words, she's an illusionist - she can make you hear, see, feel (ie touch), taste and smell what she wants you to. SO - she can make herself appear human (though, in the sun you would still see the sparkles... they just wouldn't be on the actual skin, but like a halo), she can make you feel/hear her heartbeat... etc. It's a bit of a long shot, I know, and very much wishful thinking, but I like it.


So there you go. I've ranted enough. And I know that nobody will read this... but I like to get all my thoughts out, so that I can make sense of them. I'll see ya'll on the flip side!!!
